Kenneth Noland, alternately known as an Abstract Expressionist for his early work, and a Minimalist for later work, was one of the best know Color Field painters. He taught in Washington, DC for many years where he helped found and establish the Washington Color School movement. This poster, signed by the artist, is from the one-man exhibition in 1977 which hung at the Guggenheim in NYC and jointly at the Hirschhorn and the Corcoran in Washington DC.
