This is an unusual and unusually beautiful MCM table. The top is a colorful, polished ochre marble with veining of cream, red and hints of green. It has been cut into a trefoil shape, leading us to believe it may be European Modern, perhaps Italian. It is about dining table height yet is smaller than the average dining table and larger than an occasional table. We picture it in a fabulous entryway with fresh cut flowers or in an important library-type room or solarium, but it will make a statement wherever you choose to place it.
The marble top sits on a slender chrome column, an interesting juxtaposition of materials. The bottom terminates in four distinctly modern chrome feet positioned on the points of the compass. Each of these is capped at the end with a black protective cover.
