This is a remarkable Danish Modern sideboard by Johannes Aasbjerg in solid teak. Aasbjerg was a master craftsman who was not as commercially-oriented as other designers, but produced extremely high quality and well-crafted furniture.
A tambour door with unusual wide slats can cover the entire front, or switch it up for another look by leaving the doors open around the central drawers. The drawers have sculpted pulls that, seen together, resembles cat eyes. Flanking the drawers are cabinets with adjustable shelves.
Fantastic & functional storage in a beautiful, thoughtful, and well crafted piece of investment quality furniture.
