- We are extremely pleased to offer this gorgeous two-piece Bernhard, Pedersen & Son, Denmark, sideboard, comprised of an optional display top and storage cabinet.
The display top is divided into two sections, each having an adjustable shelf and sliding glass doors. - Each of the glass doors has an incised handle
- The storage cabinet has two tambour doors that meet in the middle; these are as functional as they are beautiful since you don’t need the extra room that a door opening out requires
- The doors each have a vertical sculpted handle
- The distinctive feature on both pieces, top and bottom, are the rounded corners framing the doors on each
- This is echoed on the ‘legs’ of the top, which have curved sides
- The rosewood is especially luscious and has aged to a dark patina
- The figuring in the grain features darker brown tones, and some reddish hues throughout true to the rosewood species
- Additionally, the back is fully finished so it can be used as a room divider in an open area
- Bernhard, Pedersen & Sons was a high-end manufacturer; you can see and feel the quality of the piece
