Where to begin when describing this sumptuous teak highboy? To start, its seven graduated drawers are a super feature if you’re looking for storage. Each drawer has two round, “winking eye” pulls – the signature of Kai Kristiansen, its Danish designer. How about the wood? It has aged to a deep rich patina and the graining has taken on an incandescent glow. This is set off nicely by the darker stained wood outlining the case. The turned legs it sits on are ever-so-slightly splayed outward, giving it a friendly appearance.
As if that were not enough, the front of this highboy is curved, adding an extra bit of storage along with a lot of graciousness. This is a truly spectacular piece with utilitarian purposes that will please your eye for many years to come.
