A multifunctional settee comprised of an upholstered back and seat on a teak frame. The arms have inset woven caned panels, and each folds down to provide a longer resting space for sleeping or lounging. Model fd 451. By Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France & Sons. Denmark, circa 1960. Showing minor wear, it was reupholstered approximately 10-15 years ago, after which it was seldom used.
