Lithograph of seaside scene by Alan Tompkins, the prolific artist known for the Cubist and abstract influences on his paintings. He is notable for being the first director of University of Hartford from 1957-1969. He was also a 4-time national art competition winner, painting murals for the Depression-era Works Progress Administration, including for post offices in North Carolina and Indiana.
