In the style of Finn Juhl, this is an exceptionally beautiful design by Kipp Stewart for the Drexel Declaration line of furniture, circa ’50s.
To be used as either end tables or night stands, these feature a “cube” suspended within a frame created by the legs. The front of the “cube” is open for cubby storage and there is a drawer below. The drawer retains the white porcelain ball which is the signature of the Declaration line. The walnut has pretty figuring and has aged to a rich patina.
