Featured at Kensington.
In 1952, the Danish designer couple Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel designed the Vita sofa, which was unveiled at a furniture exhibition in Copenhagen. The sofa caused great attention, thanks to both its rounded organic shape and to the structure of the rounded shell floating on a visible solid oak frame. Even today, the Vita sofa offers both a visual treat and a pleasant, embracing seating comfort.
The sofa belongs to the “Organic Modernism” style trend. Danish manufacturer Getama has worked with the Ditzel estate to manufacture authorized re-issues of some of the most important Danish designs. The Vita sofa has been made to the exact specifications of the designers.
