This Danish Modern accent chair exhibits the characteristics of a Peter Hvidt design as seen in the oval back rest. Similarly it is in the direct style of the iconic Hans Wegner Shell Chairs.
It was imported by the Georg Jensen store in New York in 1965. The sturdy frame has beautiful lines, especially in the way the arms are formed. The seat, upholstered in cognac-colored leather, is angled for comfort. Comfortable, durable and stylish in the best of the Danish tradition.
