Here is an extraordinary Mid Century dresser in walnut & rosewood . It’s the details on this classic horizontal shape that make it special. The middle section features three long drawers flanked on either side by three shorter drawers. While the front of the long drawers are walnut, the drawers on either end are faced with rosewood and walnut in a lively checkerboard pattern. The body of the piece seems to float on its well-proportioned squared legs.
To finish, the designer chose fantastic chrome pull knobs reminiscent of old radio dials for the long drawers; the feet are also capped in chrome giving the overall effect a nice interplay of light and dark. All in all a stunning piece for use as a dresser, sideboard or media cabinet. Design attribution is in the style of George Nelson.
