Heritage Walnut Dresser / Credenza with Burled Accents

This beautifully crafted dresser was produced by the respected American manufacturer, Heritage, but has features that were clearly influenced by Danish Modern design. The front is broken up into thirds – the left and center taken up by four long drawers, of which the top drawer has two oval inset handles framed in a darker burl wood, whereas the lower three drawers have a long horizontal sculpted handle.
The right side has four shorter drawers, each of which have the oval handle. The graining of the walnut has been carefully placed on the front of each drawer for dramatic effect. The legs frame the cabinet, and the top of the dresser is quite substantial. Providing plentiful storage, this piece will blend well with styles beyond Mid-century Modern and Danish Modern including Organic Modern, Arts & Crafts and Stickley.
