Pair of Upholstered Mid Century Modern Designer Club Chairs

Here’s an inviting pair of club chairs, dating to the late ’60s. The entire frame – front, back and arms – is upholstered. The backrest area is button tufted. The upholstery is probably not original but is vintage ’70s in a tweedy stripe of blues, greens and golds. The re-upholstery job was very well done with attention to every detail. The sturdy legs are walnut, grounding the chairs.

These chairs offer a lot of possibilities due to their classic style and the palette of colors whether as the focal point in a room or as accent chairs.
