Rare Exposed Frame Lounge Chair by Milo Baughman
SOLD
Featured at Kensington.
This fabulous and rare find is a lounge chair designed in the ’60s by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. Nestled in the exposed walnut frame is a padded chair with a rounded point back and swooping, curved arms. The gorgeous flame-colored fabric is a sturdy tweed. Button tufting starts on each arm and then cascades down the back and spills onto the seat.
It’s as if Milo Baughman had been asked to design a throne for the modern King of His Castle – it’s regal, sexy and fun! The color sends it over-the-top – in a good way. It’s good to be king!
