Here is an older set of four Danish Modern teak dining chairs. The chairs, upon first glance, appear to be traditional in style but closer inspection reveals that they exhibit early hallmarks of later classic Danish design — an interesting mix of curves and straight lines. They have a graceful profile. The backrest is a modified shield shape and the hardware where the back legs attach to the back rest become part of the decoration. The teak has aged to a dark patina, coordinating well with the black upholstery on the slightly larger seats.
