Here is an unusual and visually striking Mid Century Modern accent chair dating to the 1960’s. Within a squared exposed wooden frame, the seat and back have been placed. The back is tilted at a slight angle for comfort, and is uniquely ‘folded’ with an inset upholstered backrest.

The chair is interesting from every angle because of its features such as the metal strut connectors for the back, the placement of the dowel pins, the shape of the legs and the beautiful grain on the back of the chair. It’s a beautiful marriage of design and materials for a unique chair with a distinctly masculine feel that would be at home in an office or living room.
