This interesting designer sideboard by John Keal for Brown Saltman dates to the 1960s yet remarkably its design spans time: it can be said to be reminiscent of the 1930s and also foreshadows the Memphis style of the 1980s. Ebonized wood comprises most of the case and the legs; the three drawers below have a faux-cork treatment on their front.
Big on storage, this sideboard – which could easily be used as a bar cabinet – has two doors on the left and middle that open out to shelving. The right side is composed of three drawers. Drawers have John Keal’s signature pulls. The drawers below do not have handles but are opened using indents under the drawer.
